SIFA became the 8th association to join The TransportGroup

On 1 January 2008, SIFA became the 8th association to join The TransportGroup, itself a member of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise.

Originally a body for cooperation between seven employer’s federations in the field of transport, with its core activities being consultation in everything from legal disputes to union negotiations, The TransportGroup has now expanded its scope of activities.

By setting up a new division charged with representation, communication and lobbying and by adding SIFA’s staff and a new press secretary to its team, The TransportGroup is well on its way to reaching its aim of being the voice of the entire transport sector regarding both employer’s interests and overall transport policy.
